Livesprites Box
The direct sequel to City of Zeroes, "Live Sprites" was an attempt to take the characters and artwork of Derek's universe in a new direction. Unfortunately a dwindling fan base and a tragic event caused the series to have an abrupt ending.
CoZ Box
Without question Derek's most succesful comic series, "City of Zeroes" was once enjoyed weekly by over 20,000 regular readers. Based in the world of "City of Heroes", an online MMORPG, the series focused on the trials of the citizens of Paragon City who are forced to endure all sorts of abuse so that the Heroes have something to do.
PunnyComics Box
A joint project between Derek Sweet and Sean Othan, "Punny Comics" was a hilarious one-panel experiment that produced tremendous results. Again, because of the growing popularity of City of Zeroes Derek was too distracted to continue drawing, but there is a chance this series will be revived in the near future.
EvolChildren Box
A joint project between Derek Sweet and Samuel David, "Evol Children" was an extremely short lived series. Because of the growing popularity of City of Zeroes Derek was severely distracted and unable to dedicate as much time to the project as he had hoped. Look for future collaborations between these two in the near future.
EvolDays Box
Originally published on various TOOL fansites across the internet, "Evol Days" was an infrequently produced series, yet it contains some of Derek's most philisophical work. Rather than produce work on a deadline, Derek focused on making every comic perfect in order to better learn the craft.
HisChildren Box
Originally published in the University of Calgary newspaper “The Gauntlet”, "His Children..." contains, quite literally, the birthing of the Derek and Dar’k characters. Often met with objection from various groups on campus, and almost pulled form the paper entirely, “His Children...” set the tone of Derek’s comics for years to come.
